ACCIDENT AT SPORTS MEETING

'BRISBANE, March 4. Accidentally struck on the head by a 151b weight thrown by a competitor at a sports meeting, Frank Perske, aged DO, was fatally injured. Perske was bending down measuring the distance the weight had been thrown by a competitor when another competitor hurled the weight. Pcrsko was too preoccupied and failed to hear the warning cries. The weight struck the back of his head.
