ORR'S SYDNEY VISIT

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. William Orr, the American,-aged*-19, who was the junior meteorologist with tho Byrd expedition, and who, when prevented from landing in Sydney owing to his being a prohibited "immigrant, climbed through a porthole and evaded the wharf authorities, returned today by the AorangL He conferred with the American Consul. Orr says his plans for the future are indefinite. He hopes to obtain a visa to return to Sydney, where he believes he could secure a meteorological appointment. Referring to the Sydney incident he said he objected to compulsory confinement, and went, ashore. After two days "seeing Sydney" he reported to the Union Company, who were responsible to tho immigration authorities for his return to New Zealand.
