ANOTHER BOXER ARRIVES
Dave Palmer, professional welterweight, a member of the well-known Australian family in which Ambrose is particularly prominent, arrived in Wellington by the Monowai from Sydney today. Palmer is on his fifth trip to New Zealand, and told a "Post" reporter that, if the prospects were sufficiently encouraging he was prepared to settle here. In any case his present trip will be prolonged to allow him to meet any engagements which may be offered him. Palmer has not yet been beaten in New Zealand, though he has met some good men, including Jamito, the Filipino who was here a few years ago. His fighting weight is about lOst 4Jlbs.
