STOCK EXCHANGE CHAIRMAN

MR. F. E. GRAHAM RETIRES

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day

The retiring chairman of the Christchurch Stock Exchange, Mr. F. E. Graham, who has held office from 1911 to 1933, was met by members and. exmembers and presented with the hammer with which ho has ruled the exchange for twenty-three years, and' bearing an inscribed silver plate. Warm tributes were paid to his energy and guidance. ;'

Telegrams -were received from the chairmen of the Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin exchanges expressing appreciation of the long and valuable services rendered by Mr. Graham, not only to his own but also to all the exchanges of fhe- Dominion, congratulating him on his unique record, and ■wishing him many years of happiness.
