He was I'elix Mulligan, aged 43, a miner, and he spoke of his decorations in asking to be given a chance and in offering to take out a prohibition order. Remarking that it was Mulligan's fourth statutory offence of drunkenness, Mr. E. Page, S.M., imposed a fine of £2, in default seven days' imprisonment.
