REQUIEM MASS
LATE KING OF THE BELGIANS
A solemn Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of the late King Albert of the Belgians will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Mary of the Angels', Boulcott Street, by bis Grace Archbishop O'Shca,, S.M. • The panegyric will be preached by the Rev. Father Darra, S.M., a Frenchman who served as a chaplain with the New Zealand troops in Belgium during the Great War. ,
It, is anticipated that there will be a large attendance of clergy and hierarchy at present in Wellington in connection with the diamond jubilee of Archbishop Amongst those who have signified their intention to be present are Mr. Justice Blair, representing tho Chief Justice and the Judiciary; Mr. Calvin Hitch, ConsulGeneral for tho United States •of America; Cay. Dott. Formichella, Consul for Italy; M. Masdubost, adviser to the French Board of Trade, representing also the returned soldiers of France;. Mr. W. Penseler, German Consul; Mr. Chunhow 11. Pao, Consul for the Republic of China; Mr. J. T. Martin, Consul for Sweden; Mr. George Robertson, Consul for Brazil; Mr. N. S. Falla, hon. Consul for Japan; Mr. John -Enrighr, Consul for Norway (Westport); Mr. A. J. Fermie, acting Consul for the Netherlands, a member of the Naval Board; Dr. G. Craig and Mr. Good, representing the Customs Department; Mr. A. Walker (Navy League) and Miss Edwin (women's section of the Navy League); Colonel A. Cowles and Mr. W. Perry (Returned Sdldiers' Association); Messrs. F. F. Miles and F. N. Bouillet, president and vice-president of the French Club; Mr. A. G. Barnett, secretary of the Wellington Harbour Board; Mr. G.
