OPERATIONS AT WAIHI

' The following information has been cabled to the London office of the Waihi Goldmining Company, Limited:— Grand Junction No. 6 Level.—Royal lode, soutli-east prospecting crosscut: Lode situated at 347£t in, we have driven to the east -on this 14ft, the assay value being 4s 3d per ton. Driven to the west 2ft; a trace of bullion- only. Lode at 31ft in the crosscut at 70ft west: The next 15ft west assays 9d per ton. All this work ig now suspended.
