Sir, —There are- many pedestrians that are at times unable to pay bus fares to and from Karori to the laity; especially via the viaduct and The Terrace end. It the City Council would have three scats placed between the parts mentioned it would be a great boon to'•local people and to visitois. ' One seat could .be "placed near Mount Street, another at Kelburn Parade, ami one' in Glasgow Street. It certainly should not cost much. In such
hilly parts as we have about Wellington and its subuibs seats are an essential improvement and aie much appreciated by the eldeily folk. Probably there aie people who mifiht feel it a public duty to donate seats, —I am,'etc., t
