The Nahlin was the winner of.the Charman Trophy race, which was sailed in a- tricky north breeze last' Saturday by Worser Bay.Club boats', and the Pukeko and the Spinet managed to secure second and third places • respectively. • The Lady 'Grace 'finished" v fourth',: followed closely- by 'the- Ramii 'and. <.the ■ SuZet'te. The two . latter ' ; bbats have - been noticeably unsuccessful this : 'Season;' and it is generally ; considered vthat,-.»they should be given a 1 little more time allowance. Two new Idle-Alongs are under construction, and it is hoped to see one of them afloat for the big event on March 11, while the other will probably be at Paremata for Easter.
