BOXING ON MONDAY
The Australian lightweight, Jack Fitzgerald, will meet Ted, Oxley, the holder oE the Xe\v Zealand' title, on Monday night. Oxley, though having suffered a reverse in his meeting -with, Franklin, is every bit as good as when-he "won the title from Archie Hughes, and lie should give a good account of himself. Patrons should note that holders of reserves' will have preferential rights for the coming Franklin-Fitzgerald match on March 12 next. The brilliant Gisbornc boy is in great demand, and it is likely that, if-he continues as at present, suitable opponents will be imported to meet him in the future. The box plan is advertised in todays issue.-with special prices for ladies and boys on niglit of contest.
