MARTIAL LAW ENDED WORK OF COURTS-MARTIAL LONDON, February 21. The"Daily Telegraph's" Vienna, correspondent states that martial law ended yesterday. The courts-martial since they were instituted have hanged eight, sent three to penal servitude for life, and passed sentences totalling 39.7 years on 31 members of the Republican Defence Corps. ' The'courts-martial have set many hundreds free, but large numbers of Social Democrats—deputies, councillors, State and union " secretaries—against whom no charge, has been preferred, are being placed in concentration camps. Dr. Seitz, ex-Socialist Mayor of Vienna, is among them.'
