THE DREDGE WHAKARIRE
_ There is a possibility that the Wellington Harbour Board's .dredge AVhakarire may be sold to the Napier Harbour Board.
Negotiations are in progress, and no particulars are yet available. If purchased, tho Whakarirc will bo used in the Kapler . Harbour development scheme. •
The AVha^karirc is a steel, twin-screw bucket hopper dredger, of 819 tons gross, built in 1003 by Lobnitz and Co., Ltd., at Renfrew. Her dimensions are: Length, 150.2 feet; breadth, 36 feet; depth, 13.1 feet. She is driven by engines of 120 nomiuaj horse-power.
