Tho presses of the Federal Bureau of Printing, and Engraving were busy today clicking out gold notes which'go to Federal Eeservo holders in exchange for metal deposited in the Treasury. As the notes are not designed for circulation they are being printed in 10,000----dollar denominations.

President Roosevelt conferred throughout the day with his fiscal advisers. An early proclamation is expected fixing the new gold content' of the dollar arid the immediate implementation of the two billion dollar stabilisation fund.
