THE MYNONIE B. KIRBY
Eecently an account was given of the departure from London of the 73----ton schooner Mynonie B. Kirby on a five-year cruise with the South Sea Islands in her itinerary. "Spindrift" has written in: this connection: "The voyage terminated rather abruptly after lasting less than five days," he sayg, '' the vessel which, -was of ancient vintage becoming'dismasted off Brest. She was taken in tow for Falmouth, but broke away. A lifeboat rescued the crew and took them 'to tire; Scilly Islands, where they were fed and clothed. Apparently the ship was 105t.."
