PUKEKURA PARK EXTENSION

. ~ NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. Following the recent presentation to the Borough of>Now Plymouth of.'tho magnificent. Brooklauds Estate, adjoining the famous Pukekura Park, native bush in tho Highlands Estate, and contiguous to' the Brooklands, Estate, has been dedicated- to tho borough by the owners, Messrs. T. C. List.and C. A. Wilkinson, M.P. -

The area of the dedicated property is about nine acres, and togother with the Brooklanda Estate and Pukckuru Park will mako a scenic reserve of unrivalled beauty. The bush is in its pristino state, and will make a splendid complement to the Brooklands property. It will permit in time of uninterrupted walks and drives from the centre oi! New Plymouth for well over a'mile to tho borough boundary. The .necessary land for two entrances to tlio new reserve has also been de'dicateil.
