FAITH IN AUSTRALIA
WAIRARAPA'S WELCOME
The visit of the Faith in Austraia to Martinborough yesterday morning and Masterton in -the afternoon attracted much interest in the Wairarapa. About 200 passengers were carried in Martinborough. ■ . The Faith in Australia arrived at Masterton at 2 p.m., and Mr. G. U. Allen, the pilot, and his associates, were given a rousing reception. Welcoming the party on behalf of the Wairarapa and Ruahine Aero Club xand on behalf of the Masterton Borough Council, Mr, ■\V. L.'F/ee said that the aeroplane and its crew had made aviation history yrithin Tecent months. In his reply, Mr. Allen praised the aerodrome, whdeh ho described as a fine one. He apologised for the absence of Mr. Ulm, who ha&'liad to leave for Sydney on business, and expressed tho hope that the visit of tho Faith in Australia would stimulato interest iv aircraft. ; Mr. Allen was kept busy for tho rest of the afternoon, many passenger flights being made.
