HUTT VALLEY GAS LIGHTING
~ - - , ~ ■■■ .. ! . .'. ,' A meeting of the Petone and Lower Hutt Gas Lighting Board was held.last evening, Mr. W. G. Meldrum presiding. The works manager (Mr. C. Shaw), in his report for December, said the gas manufactured was 9,591,000- cubic ,fcot, which was a decrease of 202,000 cubic feet compared with December, 1932, and an increase of J 12,000 cubic feet over" November of this year. The average make per ton "was 16,622 cubic feet, and the average calorific value 464 British thermal units.
