Mr. Walter "Fuller is visiting Auckland. Mr. E. T. Farrow, general manager of Hay's Wharf, London, left Auckland by the Aorangi yesterday on his return to England. Mr. J. Binstead, Locomotive Engineer for th,c South Island Railways, is on holiday leave. Mr. S. 11. Jenkinson, from head office, Wellington, is relieving Mr. Binstead. Mr. B. S. T,ha,ckei", recently appointed Attorney-General of Fiji, sailed from Auckland by the Aorangi on his return to Suva. Mr. E. McPhail, formerly an inspector of the Bank of New Zealand, re-' turned'to the Dominion by the Aorangi on Monday after a visit to' England.' Sir Daniel Levy, Speaker of th» House of Kepresentatives, New South Wales, has arranged to visit New Zealand shortly. ■ . Mr. W. Penseler, Consul of Germany in. Now Zealand and Samoa, will leave Wellington by the Monowai on Friday en route for Brisbane, from where' he will proceed in the Gorman cruiser Karlsruhe on an official visit to Samoa. Mr. Penseler is expected to bo back in Wellington by the end. of February. Messrs. C. W. Eattray ■ and 'G. Tt. Ritchie, directors of the Union Steam Ship Co., arrived in. Wellington1 this morning from the south to attend a ' meeting .of directors of the company. A unanimous call by the* congregation, of the Hastings Baptist Church has been sent to the Rev. C. B. Boggis, pastor of the Island Bay Baptist Chinch, Wellington, to fill the- va'eancv caused by- the resignation of the Eev.' E. Nieholls, who leaves next month for Wanganui. Mr. Boggis was a- member of the Auckland, Baptist Tabernacle and was a pupil,' tinder Dr.'J. J. North, at tho Now Zealand' Baptist |Collcgo, Bemuera, Auckland.
