MASTER BRIERLY'S FORM

Master Brierly, who is an entrant for the Wellington Cup, was started three times ' at the Auckland Summer Meeting^ and' he stood up to his racing in first-rate style. He ran a fair race in the Auckland Cup, and his effort in the Racing Club Handicap, in which he' finished close up behind the placed horses, waa a creditable one, as he was not well placed early. His final appearance was in the Grandstand Handicap, in which he was kept much closer to the leaders, and Kiltowyn just beat him at the finish. Hia form during the meeting shbws that he in back to his beet again, and he should not be long oft' the winning list.
