MEDICAL SCHOOL ENTRANTS

(To the Editor.) Sir, —I note with interest the report of Sir Lindo Ferguson regarding the number of students at the Otago Medical Softool. The information is appreciated, as it confirms rumours that have been current regarding the possibility of limiting entrance to the school. Nevertheless, perhaps a definite statement from the University would serve to dispel the unfortunate idea prevalent in some quarters that confirmation of mieh rumours, is given only when the immediate interests oi' the University will not be adversely affected.—l.am, etc., INTERESTED.
