One lost his sight momentarily, and was so badly shaken that he was unable to move. The other man was chopping wood and the axe went spinning from his hands. A cloudburst occurred in the town of Stone's Corner.' Low-lying streets were submerged anjpl gardens and fences washed away. Percival Blatehford, 16, was drowned in attempting to swim a flooded-creek.
