A professional boxing contest was staged here tonight between Joe Frank]y», 9st 1 Jib (Gisborne), and Clarrio llayncr, Sst 131b (Blenheim), 3?ranklyn winning, by a knock-out in the twelfth round. The gong had saved Kayner in the eleventh round. The- bout was keen and willing, with plenty.of action.
