BURIED UNDER COAL

Shortly after 2.30 o'clock this •afternoon, Henry Roberts, aged 65, who lives at 62 Hawker Street, was buried by a fall of coal at the Evans Bay power station. Roberts, who is a handyman employed at tho station, was working on a coal heap outside the building whon tho accidont occurred. One of his hands was just showing above the coal, and it was not long before othor employees of tho station extricated him. Ho was in a semi-conscious condition when rescued, arid was 'taken.-to the hospital by the Preo Ambulance. The extent of his injuries was notknown at the time of-going to press. It was stated, however, that he did not appear to bo in a serious condition.
