LONDON, November 29. ,

Twenty-one years after the sittings of the Boyal Commission, on Divoreo-a private member's Bill is being introduced in the House of Commons, sponsored by Mr. ■G. W. Holford-Kuight (Nat. L.), Sir J. J. Withers (C), Mr. J. Slater (C), Colonel A. W. Goodman (C), Miss E. Kathbone (Ind.), and others on the lines,of the Commission's majority report. The Bill permits divorce by either party on any of the- following grounds: Adultery, desertion for three years, cruelty, certified lunatic for five years or an incurable drunkard, at least three years' separation, or the undergoing of imprisonment under a commuted death sentence.

The Court is also empowered to presume death after seven years' absence
