CARNIVAL ESSAYS
Awards in" the Confidence Carnival essay competition, for which there were 309 entrants, are announced. The essays were not to exceed 1000 words, and were for primary school children, teachers being required to certify that the entries were the original work of the competitors.. The judges were Dr. G. H. Seholefield and Messrs. T. Lindsay Bnick, Johannes Anderson, and James Cowan.
