Extradited from Australia, where they wero recently arrested, Terence Moncriff Nixon " (22) and Cyril Robert Hankins (25) appeared in the Police Court today, both charged with stealing on December 2!) £1795^ the property of tho Government. Nixon was described as a clerk in . the Government's employment, and Hankins as an insurance clerk.

Tho accused were remanded until November 10. Bail was fixed at £500 each. They were ordered to report daily to .the police; ■
