EOAD SEALING

MASTERTON COUNTY WORKS

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

MASTEETON, This Day. Approximately' six miles of tar-seal-ing work, over four and a half miles of which will be 'iiew construction, will be put in hand by the Mastcrton County Council by tho end of the year. Tho works, of which approval was received from the Public Works Department at yesterday's meeting of tho council, are as follows:—Wollington-Napior main highway, Opaki Mount Bruce Hall section, sealing, 4 miles 45 chains; Wel-lington-Napier main highway, re-seal-ing, 11 chains front the northern boundary, of the Masferton Borough; Mas-terton-Wcber main highway, sealing approaches to Euamahanga Eivor bridge, jTc Ore Ore; Upper Plain-Kaituna Eoad, soeond and final-seal coat, 45 chains. It was decided to invite tenders for tho works and consider them at tho next meeting of tho council. Tho works will be put in hand before Christmas.
