FATAL SHOT

TRAGEDY IN OFFICE

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

BLENHEIM, This Day.

Hugh Wedde, about 22, employed as a ledger clerk in Messrs. Wright Stephenson and Company's office was found dead in the firm's strongroom this afternoon with a rifle beside him. The only other person in the office at the time was a typist, Miss Marple, who heard the shot, and made the tragic discovery.

The deceased, a popular local young man, was in the best of spirits at the office this morning.
