Sir, —I feel compelled to protest against the craze Srhick some people have developed of leading dogs through the city stveets and even iuto shops and tea rooms. The nuisance often created on the streets is disgusting in the extreme, and I cannot understand how people can permit it. Cannot something be done by the City Council to prevent such a state of alairsi; — I am, etc.,
