WATT CUP FIELD DAY

Ninety pairs took part yesterday at Shandon in the apnual field day held by the clubs-which engage in the Watt Cup competition.

A foursome bogey competition in the morning was won by C. Marchbanksand C. Hqllis, of the Shandon Club, with 6 up, and a fourball; best-ball competition in the afternoon resulted in a tie between J. Lulham and C. Gyles, of the Titahi Club, and N. 0; Maitland and G. B. Ward, of the Waiwetu Club, both finishing 9 up. They tossed for the trophy, the Titahi pair winning.

.Mr. G. ,/H. A. Swan, president of the Shandon Club, presented the prizes to the winners.
