Mr. W. ■F; ■ Stillwell, S.M., dealt with cases in the Magistrate's Court today.

For a third statutory offence of drunkenness, Frederick Arthur Carlyle Kingan, aged 59, an ex-jockey, was fined £2, in default fourteen days' imprisonment.

A remand until November 13 was grantei in the case of Arthur, Johu Roberts, aged 38, a motor-driver and cook, who was' charged with breaking and . entering the warehouse of the Vacuum Oil Company at Napier and committing theft therein! Detective-Sergeant L. Revell said that Roberts had been arrested at Maryborough on Saturday by Detective-Sergeant T. Y. Hall.
