MINERS' SUPPORT TO
MR. WEBB

GEEYMOUTH, November .5,
At a meeting of- the West Coast Miners' Council and officials of the Miners' National Council held yesterday at was decided to abandon the proposals to nominate a candidate for the Buller by-election in opposition to Mr. P. C. Webb, and to recommend that all affiliated organisations should cooperate with a view to placing a suitable candidate in the field at the General Election.
