CHEISTCHUKCH, This Day.
.Betting material which proved, according to the police, that the accused was a member of.a bookmakers'association, was produced in Court thi« morning when Charles Frederick Fearon, aged 30 years, was charged with using a house in Beckcnham as a common gaining house. He pleaded jfuilty and was fined £100 by Mr. E. p.' Mosley, S.M.
The police stated that Fearon' lad been convicted and fined a ' similar amount seven years ago. The Magistrate remarked, after looking at tho accused's list: "Among the betting material produced there are one or two interesting names. This is .very, interesting." • The Chief Detective": Yes, I noticed that. . '
