BRITISH LABOUR'S BID
MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, October 31. Municipal elections take place tomorrow in more than 300 cjties and towns of England and Wales. When the seats that are now vacant were won three years ago Conservatives succeeded in gaining throughout the country 112 seats, and in . the present campaign they are defending these seats. Last year's polls, however, showed a turning in favour of Labour and a spirited effort is being made by the Labour Party to increase its representation on the local councils.
