CLAIM AGAINST NEPHEW
A compensation case occupied tho attention of the Arbitration Court today, the plaintiff, Henry Arthur Hall, claiming against his nephew, Robert Neilson Hall. Mr. O. C. Mazengarb appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. W. E. Leicester for the defendant. The plaintiff's case was that he was employer as a carrier by the defendant, who traded as A. Hall, carrier, of Wellington. In' January this year he was unloading bars of iron from a wagon when one o£ them fell on him and fractured nis left leg. As a result of the accident, it was stated, he had been incapacitated ever since and would remain 60 for some time to come. Neither the. facts of the accident nor the. extent of. the injuries received were in dispute, the Court being asked to determine the basis on which compensation should be computed. Legal argument on this question is being, heard.
