Havering loft for the north yesterday, and Aga Khan and Diagano were due to have left today. . Havering has improved considerably sineo racing at, Waverley, and on; .Saturday galloped a mile attractively in lmiii 45 ,4-ssec, putting up his best tract performance since his resumption. It should not be long now before he is showing some of his old form. Aga Khan and Diagano have been having an." easy time since the Wellington Meeting, but both look in excellent condition. On Monday they galloped six furlongs the reverse way Tound in lmin 19sec, and yesterday the pair worked at half pace., - Both should race well at Auckland. J. Fryer will not be represented at Ellerslie, but intends -taking a team, comprising Gibraltar, Green Linnet, Chief Line, and Oriel, to the Waikato Meeting. .... Green Linnet has' practically recovered from, the injury she sustained at Waverley through being galloped on, and is working again. This mare, hag come on rapidly, and looks in good racing trim. Sho has shown great improvement in her schooling work over the hurdles, and will have to be taken seri: ously when next started in a jumping event. Gibraltar has been kept at steady pace work since Waverley. 'Sandlark has quite recovered from the effects of his recent mishap, and ia being sprinted. Yesterday morning he galloped a couple of furlongs, finishing well in front of Benedictine in 26 4-5 sec. Fryer hopes to have Sandlark racing during the holidays. • The Tiger will not be required until Christmas time, and is still pottering about doing easy exercise.
