Another travel bargain is offered to the public by the Railway Department with a special excursion to Wanganui' next Sunday. The Eccond-class return fare from Wellington is only 10s (2% miles for Id) and the charges from intermediate stations lire proportionately low. This enterprise is in accordance with the community service principle which has been''notably appreciated by the general public. These specially cheap fares give, people an easy opportunity to visit relatives and friends, and thus they, help to promote a desirable spirit of cheerfulness. , This trip will be spectacular, for the country will be all aglow- with the full beauty of spring. Wanganui, too, where tho excursionists will have five hours, will show plenty of the season's colours. i ■ .
