Net profits of £22,090, or £13,522 less than tho previous year, have been earned by United Provisions, Ltd., Sydney, in the period ended September 30, 1933. The company holds the shares of J.-C. Hutton, I'ty., Ltd., and Foggitt, Jones, Pty., Ltd., manufacturers of smallgoods and dairy products, and has interests in New Zealand. The shores are valued at cost at £1,355,008, and the company has received in dividends on account of tho shares £22,500 as proceeds from the profits of ' £30,594, against £38,047 in the previous year, earned by the trading companies. Gross profits of the trading companieß amount to £195,004, compared with £233,721 last year. No dividend on ordinary shares has been paid, and the dividend on preference shares has been reduced to 3 per cent, for the year. A balance of £501 has been carried forward.
