MISS FLEMING WINS
Atter an exhibition ot good golf, Miefe V. Fleming (Shirley) won the Miramar Ladies' Golf Club's open championship yesterday1 '•afietnoor/; bpating Mifiß""E. Hftns.on (Miramar) in the final by 5 up and •1 to play. This maieo Miss l'leming's sixth championship title this year, as flho had previously won the Canterbury provincial title .it Shirley, the Ctaistchurch, Russley, and ilarewood - Club championships, ami the 'Pajranaki open championship. Although the weather -nns fine for play it strong noith-weslerly wind was troubletome at times. The final between Mi?s Fleming and !Mi?s Hanson -nas witnessed by a. gallery of about one hundred. Ml-. R. C. Butteis acted as umpire. MIRAMAR HANDICAP. In the final of the Miramar Haudicdij, Mrs. Monkraan (Hutt) beat, Mi?s Hammond (Wanganui), 1 up, at the twentieth. The medal foursome jchampionship was 'won by Mre. Jarvis and Mi?s McCartin with a score of 89. Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Fleming won the jnedal-.foursome handicap, 07, 21—76. . The teams match was won by Miramar 25 (Mre.Dalgleifih 87, Mrs. Banks 97, Mrs. Jarvjs 93,- and Mrsj Richmond 97), who aggregated 365. Miramar A. (Mrs. Foreman ' 97,: Misw Petrie. 99, Mrs..
