THE T. AND G.'S NEW BUSINESS

The board of the Australasian T. and G. Mutual Life Assurance Society, Ltd., reports that the new business written during the financial year ended September 30 last ■was as follows:—In the ordinary department 22,886 policies assuring £6,381,585 and in the industrial department 126,179 policies .assuring £5,131,867, the total life business issued being 149,065 policies for £11,513,452. In addition •in the accident department there was written 2965 personal accident and sickness policies for £1,319,700 and 8114 policies in the ordinary department .were endorsed •with, accident benefits for £1,411,708.
