K. VOITRE'S PROGRAMME
Keith Voitre, wlio has now rfeached top place on the winning jockeys' list for the first1 time this season, four* points clear of A. B. EUis, who was the leader at the time of his suspension, will be riding at the Auckland Spring Meeting on November i and 6, afld he will then speed south for the two concluding days of the Canterbury Jookey Club's Meeting. Two of his mounts, at Ellerslie will be Whenuakura and Red Sun. This was the prograinme followed by "Voitre last year. At Ellerslie he won the Mitche]son Cup on Royal Artist, deadheated for first in the Welcome Stakes, on Princess Doi^een, and also won a double on Carfex. At Kiccarton he found it difficult to obtaiu good rides on the final days, but he brought Hin-lingham home a winner in the Avon Handicap, and he rode seconds on Hnrlingham and Sweet Agnes on the last day.
