MR. SIMSON OPENS CAMPAIGN

Mr. 11. lan Simson, Liberal-Labour candidate in the Buller by-election, opened his political campaign in the Theatre 'Royal, Westport, tonight, with an address to a very large audience. The trend of his. speech generally was against the misuse of money. He contended that a new currency system was required, to avoid starvation in the midst of plenty.
