(By Telegraph.-I'l-esf Association.! , AUCKLAND, October 18, In furtherance of the movement to upppse jthe suggested changes , in the present system of marketing butter and I t-heese, the New Zealand Dairy Produce Free Marketing Association has been in touch with the .London Importers' Association. The proposals came originally from the Importers' Association, ■.but they were amended by the .New ''Zealand Dairy Produce Board,, which incorporated-restrictions on f;o.b. sell-' The : Free Marketing Association ' cabled the text of a unanimous resolui tion opposing any interference in the i freedom of factories to dispoosc of pro- : duce as they thought fit. This had been I passed,at a meeting held iv Auckland :on Friday. ■ . . . • ■ The : Importers' Association has re- ' plied: "Your cablegram circulated uuong all members. As an association, we have no desire to advocate any re- : filiations which; in the opinion of the dairy industry, are unacceptable. We :\lraw attention to the fact that the pro--posed regulations -were framed' in conjunction with the Dairy Board at their i I'quest, and with- whom, representing the dairy industry, we are carrying on negotiations." To obtain Dominion-wide support for iv Object, the Free Marketing Associaiion has called a meeting of representa;ives of the industry to be held'in Wel- | lington on November 6.
