FEAR OF RESTRICTION
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)v . ATJGKLAND, This Day. On October 13, the New' Zealand Dairy Producers' Free Marketing Association, sent the following cablegram to the Importers' Association, London: "That this meeting of representatives of dairy companies is iconvinced that any interference- with or restriction of the absolute freedom of dairy ■companies to dispose of their produce as they think fit is opposed to the best interests of the- industry and would have the effect of placing New Zealand's dairy produce at a grave, disadvantage on the British market." The'lmporters' Association has replied as follows:—"Your cablegram circulated among all members. As an association we have no desire to advocate any regulations which in the opihion'of the dairy industry are unacceptable. AYe draw attention to the fact that the proposed regulations were framed in conjunction with the Dairy Board at their request and with whom, representing the dairy industry, wo are carrying on negotiations." , The New Zealand Association has convened a Dominion-wide meeting of representatives of the dairy industry in Wellington on November. 2.
