TODAY'S BUSINESS
Further consideration will be given in the House of Eepresentatives today to private members' Bills. Those .at the top of the Order Paper are the National Credits and Currency Bill (Mr. H. G. E. Mason),, the Motor-Cabs Bill (Mr. Mason), the Orders in Counc.il Confirmation Bill' (the Eev. C. Carr), the Workers' Compensation Bill (introduced by the late Mr. H. E.>_Hollana), and the Fire Insurance Companies Liability Bill (Mr. A. M. Samuel). The Gaming Amendment Bill is sixth on the Order Paper, and ia hardly likely to be reached at today's sitting. This afternoon Mr. F. Lsmgstone (Labour, Waimarino) will seek to introduce the Bank of New Zealand Amendment Bill, the object of which is to increase the measure of Government control of the bank. This is likely to lead to a lengthy debate.
