ROWING REGATTA

Postponed from last Saturday on account of the unsuitable state of the water, the Redding Shield rowing regatta will take place tomorrow at Petone, in conjunction with the Petone Rowing Club's official opening. Crews representing the Wellington, Petone, and Star' Clubs will compete at the regatta, which was won last year by Petone. Six races have to be decided, and a total of 22 crews have been entered.
