'Referring 'to tho published reports that th© Canberra and Australia were officially on the sea floor of Cook Strait, one officer protested that it was impossiblo to say whether the last manocuvro resulted in victory for them or for tho New Zealand ships the Diomedo and Dunedin, until tho facts wero collated and analysed by the respective commands.
