MELBOURNE, Tkis Day.
A slriko has developed in iho meat export industry by Victoria following the decision of the slaughtermen to reject the terms offered by tho exporters for tho settlement of tllo disputo over the team system of Hulling. Tho exporters decided to staffl tho works with volunteers who aro coining forward freely. Serious developments aro expected by unionists, and am extension of the strike to other.States is believed possible. Tho meat works trouble and tho follmongers' striko in Sydney aro causing strong protests from tho shipping interests, who point out that some vessels have made a 12,000 miles trip out partly loaded and aro now threatened' with little or no back cargo.
