Bundle, made some .strong . comment oh a letter which he had received dealing with sentences' for car conversion offences. '. .'".'- After pointing out that he'had'inthO morning dealt with cases of'this type, : his Worship stated that ho had;by the . afternoon mail received front, tho North Island Motor Union •a -circular letter purporting to have been*;sent by the president and secretary. : "It is most improper that.isuch a. circular should have been; sent^to a ' Magistrate engaged in. the administration, of justice," said Mr. Bundle, "I ; <lid not seeit until this'afternopnj'.and 1 had I seen it before I-would-certainlyj liave made some comment on, this, most ■ improper conduct."
