FEILDING STOCK SALE

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) •FEILDIXG, October 6. j Prices for fat sheep remained firm with j a slight increase for fat ewes at the stock sale, today. Best lines of fat hoggets showed an advance, while wethers were easier. In a very small yarding, store sheep prices were normal. • Dairy cattle showed an easing tendency, the offering not being of high quality, while fat cattle prices Were also easier, though good quality beef fetched satisfactory figures. The store cattle market remains at recent rates, the yarding including some stud P.A. bulls which sold at very satisfactory rates. Prices were: —

Primest fat hoggets, to 265; very>good, 21s; good, 18s 2d to 19s;. light and inferior sorts, 15s 5d to 17s sd. Fat ewes, shorn, primest, 17s 7d to 17s 9d; good, 15s 4d; fair, 12s 7d to 13s 9d; shorn maiden ewes, 14s 6d'to 16s 4d; woolly, 15s lOd to 18s 6d. Primest wethers, woolly, 23s 9d to 255; shorn, 15s 4d to 14s 6d;.j good woolly, 17s to 19s Gd; black-face twotooths, good, 21s; others, 14s Gd to 16s Id. Store sheep: iTwo-tooth wethers, 12s lOd to 14s 3d; white-face wethers, 13s 3d to lGs sd; ewe hoggets, 19s to 20s lOd; fat and forward ewes, 5s Id.

Dairy stock: Good quality springing heifers, £0 to £6 10s; fair, £5 7s 6d. to £5 10s; late calyers, £2 los to £4 13s Gd; springing cows, good quality, £4 Us to £4 10s;' late calvers, £2 12s 6d to-£3' 2s Cd; heifers, calved, £2 ss; cows in milk. £4. Fat stock: Fat cows, prime heavy, £43s to £4 12s; light, £2 7s to £3 12s; dairy sorts, 31s to 37s Gd: fat bullocks, prime heavy, £9 and £6; fat heifers, heavy, £4 10s; light, £3 7s to £3 12s 6d; inferior, 38.s to 40s; fat steers. £4 Us. Stores: T\A. pedigree bulls, Flock House draft, best, ISfrs.to 20gs; others, lOgs'to -lags; account V. Krull. best, 24gs, 27gs, and 28gs; others, IIKS,-15%g8, 16gs. 18gs.
